Most people I know learned computers by getting their hands on them in school. That door was never open to my grandparents’ generation, and it’s closing fast on anyone who didn’t catch the smartphone wave.

Tech Awareness Association runs free, recurring workshops out of Worcester County public libraries. Curriculum is plain-language, paper-handout-first, and built around the specific apps people in the room actually have on their phones.

In parallel we run an e-waste collection initiative, laptops and phones donated, wiped, repaired, and redistributed to families and students who need a working device.
