Gras2027 started as a side project in tenth grade and grew, mostly through word of mouth and patience, into something with a real userbase. Thirty thousand unique humans a month is not enormous on the scale of the internet, but it is enormous on the scale of one person doing all the work.
I own the product, the code, the moderation policy, the infrastructure bill, and the support inbox. That breadth is the most useful thing about it, it’s a forcing function for learning everything from on-call rotations to community design to the legal copy nobody reads.
